Dr. Shormann does not recommend Saxon Algebra 1/2. Instead, he recommends Math 8/7 as it does a better job of developing fluency in the essential skills required for success in Algebra 1. Students who successfully complete Math 8/7, 3rd Edition (including the Facts Practice drills), should skip Saxon Algebra 1/2 and take our new Shormann Interactive Algebra 1 with Integrated Geometry.
